How to record audio and sound on PC with Audacity ?

Below is the guideline to use Audacity to record sound on computer.

Step 1: Download & Install Audacity on your computer

Launch, the program’s interface as shown below.

 To record, simply click the pink button Record as shown below to begin recording or click Transport menu and choose Record (or select the shortcut R).

Step 2: After recording, click the yellow button Stop on the toolbar

Step 3: You can always replay your recording by clicking the green button Play or Pause button to pause.

Step 4: To export the file, go to File, choose Export...

Step 5: Enter the file name in File Name, select the format (WAV, MP3, ect) and click "Save”to save the file.
